Block Pop-ups on Samsung Internet
Samsung Internet browser enables you to effectively get rid of the pop-up ads. There are two ways to block pop-ups on Samsung Internet.
Either you can block pop-ups from Samsung Internet's default pop-up blocker available under the Settings menu or you can install any third-party extensions to do the same.
Block Pop-ups Settings Menu
The Samsung Internet has a built-in feature option to block pop-ups on all sites. You just need to enable this toggle button to make it work for you.
Here the steps to enable block pop-ups on Samsung Internet:
- Launch the Samsung Internet browser app.
- Tap on the

- Scroll down to the Advanced section, and tap on the Sites and downloads menu.
- Turn ON the Block pop-ups toggle button.
Once the toggle is turned on, the block pop-up will become active and immediately start blocking all the pop-up tabs.
Using Third-Party Extensions
The Samsung browser supports installing the extensions that are available in its adblocker library. These AdBlock extensions will also work as pop-up blockers.
Here are steps to enable ads and pop-up blocker extensions on Samsung Internet:
- Launch the Samsung Internet browser app.
- Tap on the for menu options.
- Select the Ad blockers menu from the list.
This will display the list of AdBlockers available on the Samsung Internet for installation. - Tap on Install button to add adblocker extension on Samsung Internet.
The adblocker extensions can mostly work as block pop-ups and redirect blockers on Samsung Internet. Since most of the pop-ups are generally misleading ads, and these AdBlock extensions will kill those pop-up ads before loading.
Allow Pop-ups on Samsung Internet
Pop-ups and redirects are not only intended to display irrelevant ads, some websites also use them to display important information such as payment gateway. So wherever you see the need to allow pop-ups on Samsung Internet, just simply allow them.
Here are the steps to allow pop-ups on Samsung Internet:
- Launch the Samsung Internet browser app.
- Tap on the for menu options.
- Select the Settings menu from the list.
- Scroll down to the Advanced section, and tap on the Sites and downloads menu.
- Turn OFF the Block pop-ups toggle button.
Relaunch the Samsung Internet browser and it will allow the pop-ups for all the websites. Please take note that it will allow pop-ups for all websites, there is no option to enable pop-ups for a specific site on Samsung Internet.
